Mother and baby in autumn

About Me

A  few years ago, I felt like I finally figured out what I wanted to do when I grew up. I have a BA in psychology and a Masters in Social work, but I'd spent the better part of the last 15 years as a stay at home mom. I worked part-time out of the house, and I also worked businesses from home, but my most important job was always being a mom.

Getting families off to a good start is important to me. As a mother of five who has had varied birth experiences, I am passionate about helping women get the birth they want. I believe pregnancy and childbirth are a natural part of life, and giving birth is one of the most rewarding experiences in life.

My Own Experiences

Family Focused

Personally, I have had five births, two hospital c-sections, one VBAC in the hospital, and two home births, one of which was a water births. I used HypnoBirthing from my second pregnancy on, so I am confident it works.  I breastfed all my babies, but I have worked  with bottle fed babies as well. I am passionate about helping families get off to the healthiest start possible. That starts during pregnancy, as you prepare for your new baby and the changes that bring to your family.
